Hello and thank you so much for joining in this joint blog hop between The Artful Stampers and Pootlers. I hope you have been enjoying what you have seen so far - I know I most certainly have!
I am very excited and grateful to be a part of this blog hop and I hope you like what I have created for you!
I have recently been introduced to different ways of using masks in creating cards and I am totally hooked! So today I have created yet another card using masks to create a background for my card.
This time it is a masculine card using the 'One For The Ride' stampset and again the Seasonal Masks set.
I have used the smooch technique to create the back ground on watercolour card using Wild Wasabi and Marina Mist Ink. Once that was done, I have run it through my Bigshot using one of the Seasonal Decorative Masks as an embossing folder. I have then inked it up with Versamark ink, removed the mask and sprinkled with black embossing powder and heatset it. Normally, I would be very careful about using the embossing buddy to eliminate extra unwanted sprinkles of embossing powder on my background but this time I wanted to achieve a grunge effect.
I have also used the Circle Stitched Framelit Die to cut out the motorbike using the out-of-bound technique. This has then been layered onto a Layering Circle Die
I hope you like what I have created and enjoy looking through & getting inspiration from the rest of the projects on the hop.
Thanks for stopping by!
