Telescoping Cards

I've seen a few of these Telescope cards around lately and I wanted to make a birthday card that was a little bit different for my friend, so I thought I would give one a try. They are really quite easy and fun to make.

I've used circles to make my card, but you can really use any shape you like that works well, they just need to be different sizes. I'm going to use this card as a tag on her birthday present!! Hope she likes it!!

• Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Blushing Bride cardstock
• Mocha Morning Speicalty DSP
• Old Olive, Blushing Bride Markers
• Early Espresso, Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake inkpads
• Established Elegance, French Foliage, Bring On The Cake stampsets
• Tools: Perfect Pennants, Scallop Circle No 2 Dies, Circle Scissor Plus, Crop-A-Dile
• Clear Rhinestone brads, Rhinestone Jewels, Blushing Bride Stitched Poly ribbon

A Wedding Card

We are all so focussed on Christmas at this time of year, creating cards & gifts to give away, but today I have a non traditional wedding card to share with you:

This is a card I made for my nephew's wedding which was on 16th December. It's a Joy Fold Card and I have used some non traditional papers to create it.  Here is another view showing the layers in the card:

I have used the 'Mocha Morning' Specialty paper to create this card.  It has some lovely flocked sheets of paper that matched in perfectly with the invitations that Rob & Crystal sent out.  The stamp sets used are  'Established Elegance' (in the 2012 Catty) and 'Marry Me' which is in the Summer Mini catalogue.  This particular stamp set is only available until  31 March 2012, so if you are wanting to get your hands on a set, you can contact me on my email.

I couldn't make the wedding unfortunately but I hope they had a fantastic time!!
