Brayered Upsy Daisy

I've been using my Upsy Daisy stamp set a bit lately. Don't know if you're like me but I have fads where I use a particular set for a while and then change to something else!

This card I had originally intended to submit as an entry to CASE Study, but I never got around to uploading it LOL!!

 
 I'm not sure about the background paper with this card but I do like the brayered effect.

I've used Certainly Celery and Marina Mist to brayer over the stamped image, then inked the edges with Early Espresso. The whole image was then misted with water to allow the colours tomerge a little more, then I spritzed the image with early Espresso markers and stamped with the splatter image from the 'French Foliage' stamp set.

Masculine Just Believe

Here is another card created with the oh so versatile "Just Believe" stamp set:

 

I've used a couple different techniques to create this card. Firstly I've used the maksing and brayering techniques to create my first layer image on Confetti White cardstock. I have then stamped my image again onto a pieace of darker cardstock (the same size as the first layer) using versamrk ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder.  This layer has then been cut into sections and layered on top of the original image.

It looks quite effective, don't you think?? This would be good for a masculine card

 

Ingredients:

Elegant Soiree DSP

Confetti White, Early Espresso cardstock

Blue Bayou, More Mustard, Old Olive, Early Espresso, Versamark inkpads

White embossing powder, twine, Vintage brads, Scallop border punch
