Have a big post for you today!! Just thought I'd share with you some projects we had on display at our Summer Mini Catalogue Launch yesterday:
The first is a layout I've CASE'd straight from the Summer Mini catty
I've used the Textured Impressions embossing folder, the large Scallop punch, the Specialty Designer Series Paper, The Floral Bigz Die and the Smooch Spritz to create this layout - all product from the mini catty. Other product used are Vintage Brads, Vintage Type rubons, OnBoard Alphabet Soup & twine.
The second layout is a Christmas layout created by Bev. (This one has been scraplifted from another demo but we can't remember who, so if you see this, please let us know so that we may give you credit!!)
(added note - have just found Melissa Davies was the original creator of this design - thank you for your inspiration Melissa!)
The Floral Bigz Die has also been used to create effect to create the floral embellishments on this LO. Bev has also used the Jolly Holiday DSP, Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Sizzlets Little Leaves Die and and the Season Of Joy stamp set. Isn't it just beautiful??
So now we come to the cards and giftboxes we had on display - all of them including product from the Summer Mini:
This card uses the 'Aviary' stamp set. I've CASE'd this card from Teneale Williams - very talented lady!!
This card is CASE'd from the Summer Mini itself (front cover), once again using the Floral Bigz Die. I have also used the Vintage Trinkets, Friends Never Fade stamp set, Polka Dots embossing folder, Vintage Brads & Well Scripted stamp set.
This is a mini milk carton that can be filled up with lolies and given as a christmas present. How cute are these??
And here are some more - these ones are smaller in height and I've made a carry box for them to sit in. The large scallop circle & the Homemade stamp have been used on this project. Also have used the Elegant Soiree DSP and some of the yummy new crocheted lace
The next project is a little mini pizza box we made up to give as a present to everyone who came along to our Open House launch. That Floral Bigz Die is sure getting a workout!! the flower has been created by running through the Textured Impressions embossing folder, scrunching the flowers up, then layering together before securing with a brad. They have then been spritzed with Smooch spray.
This next card has been made using the Floral Bigz Die (yet again LOL!!) and the Newsprint DSP. I've pieced together some scraps of card & paper that have been run throught embossing folders first (Textured Impressions, Polka Dot and Finial Press) and then layered on to Confetti White cardstock. Twine has been wrapped around the centre of the card just to finish it off
The next project is a little giftbox. Sorry about the quality of the photo on this one! I've been learning new things about how to use my camera but this one didn't turn out too well!!
I've used the large scallop punch on this again and the Homemade stamp to create the tag. A little piece of lace ahs been gathered and attached underneath a heart from the I Heart Hearts stamp set. Early Espresso ribbon has been wrapped around the top flap which has been covered with DSP from the Greenhouse Gala range. A swirl from the Priceless stamp set has been stamped onto the front of the box.
And finally:
This is a teabag dispenser box created from a template by Time For Crafting. I didn't use the Floral BIgz Die to create this flower (What!!) Instead, I used the Fancy Flower punch. Once again I ran it through the Textured Impressions embossing folder. It has been covered in DSP from the Newsprint range and the lid has a little bit of lace wrapped around the outside. Cute huh!!
Well, that's it from me. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking!
