Before I show you the project I have created for this blog hop, I just want you to know that there is blog candy to be won just by visiting and leaving a comment on all the 40 blogs in todays blog hop. Once you have been to all blogs, send an email to leonie@stamp-a-latte.com and let her know that you have fulfilled your entry for the blog candy.
Now, for my project: I have created a Card Purse using the Vintage Label stamp set from the new Sale-A-Bration catalogue. Depending on how many embellishments you put on your card, you can fit up to 3 cards & envelopes in the purse. Makes a great gift for someone!
The purse is made from a base of Chocolate Chip Cardstock with a layer of whisper white on top. The DSP is Parisien Breeze from the Spring Mini Catalogue (sorry - it's not available anymore!!) I have stamped my image twice, once on to Whisper White and once on to Baja Breeze, then punched them out using the scallop circle punch and the 1" circle punch.
"For You" (also from the Vintage Label set) has been stamped onto Pink Pirouette cardstock and punched out with the 3/4"circle punch.
These have all been layered together with a Baja Breeze scallop circle behind then adhered to a flower from the Pretties Kit. Stampin Dimensionals have been used to raise The "For You" on the front of the scallop
The handles on the purse are Baja Breeze striped grosgrain and they have been attached with rhinestone brads from the Pretties Kit. The heart is from the 'I {Heart} Hearts' stamp set from the Summer Mini catalogue. It has been stamped in Red Riding Hood ink and cut out.
And here are the cards:
I have used the same Vintage label stamps on this card but this time have used 2 different heart stamps from the 'I {Heart} Hearts' stamp set. I have also used the motif stamp from the 'Friends 24/7' stamp set to create a background on the card base. It has been stamped with Versamark ink to give a watercolour effect.
For my second card I have used the Label stamp from the Vintage Labels stamp set, punched it out with the label punch and layered it onto Chocolate Chip card stock. I've placed a rhinestone brad from the Pretties Kit and layered all on to a flower (also from the Pretties Kit) with Stampin' Dimensionals. this card also has images from the 'Framed With Love' stamp set and 'I {Heart} Hearts' stamp sets from the Summer Mini catalogue. I have again used the motif stamp from "Friends 24/7" as a background on the card base as well.
This is just one of the stamps sets you can EARN FOR FREE from the Sale-A-bration Catalogue.
