This is another project from this round of UStamp, designed by the very talented Kirsty Brown. It's a darling little matchbox and matching card. Would make a fabulous Valentines Day giftset for someone you love!
Here is my creation:
I have used the Parisien Breeze DSP with this one again 'cos I just love it. Wish we could still get it (**sigh**). For the Belly-Band on the box, I stamped one of the hearts from the 'I {Heart} Hearts' stamp set with versamark ink, then sprinkled it with clear embossing powder before heat setting it. The tag was created using a Stampin' Up! metal edge tag and layering it with pink pirouette, bashful blue, & confetti white cardstock, then punching a hole with the crop-a-dile for the twine to be fed through. A small heart was punched from Regal Rose cardstock and adhered with dimensionals.
The Designer Brad on the card has just been wrapped around the ribbon and pressed closed. I wasn't going to add the three bsashful blue brads but I think it needed it to balance the card out. What do you think??
Card Recipe:
- Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Kraft, Confetti White & Bashful Bllue Cardstock
- Regal Rose, Choclate Chip & Versamark Inks
- I {Heart} Hearts, Sweet Little Sentiments stamp sets
- Pink Pirouette Grosgrain Ribbon
- 1", 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" Circle punches, Large oval and Scallop oval punch, Scallop Border punch, Heart to Heart punch
- Other: Brads, Dimensionals, Sticky strip, Designer Brads, Metal Edge Tags, twine, Crop-a-dile
Have a great day & happy stamping!!
Another beautiful card Lynn and I agree the blue brads just balance the card.
